Week 2: I need a dollar... Seriously... No joke.

Well I can't really say I've had exam stress these past couple weeks, but I have been there before. Working away the last two weeks of my work term have left me feeling two things:

1. I can't wait to be on holiday

2. Man I wish I had saved more while I was working full time

So this week I kept the theme of being broke, and have had to really try to figure out what I listen to I am stressed (that is a problem that comes from being too laid back sometimes).

I am sorry that the videos are just the songs, the only versions on the music videos on youtube can't be played on another site. I tried and had to replace them with these. The second one is still a live recording though.

I don't generally pay attention to the lyrics of songs when I'm trying to motivate myself, it all becomes about the instrumentals. Fatboy Slim is a little bit of a throw-back, but when it comes to getting my mood up it works pretty quick. This song is actually a break-up song, but the without the vocals it is all positive.

I don't care if anyone thinks I over play this song, it is too good to get old. I'm going to have to thank HBO for introducing me to it, I can't get it out of my head now. I guess the timing worked out with this week's theme. The beat in this song is catchy and he is a VERY good singer, all around one of my favorite songs. Look for Aloe Blacc to pop up again if there is a week themed around love troubles since it's just about the only other thing he sings about (hey it's a music blog, it's bound to come up eventually).
