High Fidelity.

Soooo listen to this... the French weiner dog and I were in DST's office talking with him about old Radiohead, PJ Harvey, garage bands from the 90s and Justin Bieber, of course, and this awesome band called the 13th Floor Elevators came up. I've been hooked for like a month on the Nuggets collection that Robbie J mentioned. This band of elevators have some songs on it and they are awesome.

Then guess what?

We watched High Fidelity at Mutual last night. I hadn't seen it before, which is weird because it was awesomer than I expected (minus Laura's terrible, 1/2 mullet awkward bang length haircut). It had been on my movie list for awhile but clearly wasn't prioritized properly. Anyways, who's on the soundtrack? None other than 13th Floor Elevators.

AND THEN guess what?

Nothing really. I'm gonna make a mixtape now.

It would be wicked to live in the 60s. Here are more things I like this week (and forever):

Okay so imagine these next two songs are after a page break or something. Like this:
               _________________________________________________________

These are not psychedelic or rock and roll. They do keep me awake in lab right around now, which is turning into a perpetual theme. Link Wray, on the other hand, would maybe think about spitting on people who dance with DJs. Don't let that deter you. He's dead.

More again next week.

Love, Tara xo
